This book is a light hearted topic with endearing and emotional touching characters. The premise of the book is quite unique to have an older female character as the main lead of the story.
The plot flows well and the emotions that come every couple of chapters are touching and moving, it touches your heart with great writing and character development. The relationships built and described between characters are just as good. I felt like I knew Missy personally, realistic and human, she was brought to life chapter after chapter.
While a gentle genre that makes for a lovely sunday afternoon read, that does not mean it is lacking twists and turns as it is a rollercoaster of emotions!
I would reccommend this book even for those that don't usually read this genre, once you get a few chapters in you just have to finish it to explore the life of Missy more.
