What an incredible book, I thoroughly recommend everyone to read this. Missy lives a lonely life, grieving for family members she has lost and family members whom she has grown apart from. Missy knows deep down that this is all of her own doing, but having been stuck in a rut for so long she doesn't see the use in changing now. However, when two young women come into her life very much unexpectedly Missy has the chance to open up and let them in. But will she? And will Missy be able to rekindle a connection with her family?

I can't tell you how much I loved this book, words will not do it justice. As well as being a truly beautiful and poignant read, the story is also full of laughs and fun. All the characters were so well developed and all so different; they all brought something very special and meaningful to the story. I also personally adored the settings of North London and Cambridge as I have lived in both places and knew all of the places referenced so well! This was a book that I really wanted to savour, and where I often find myself wanting to speed through a book to find out what happens, I was so content in relishing each and every word of this story. A lot actually happens throughout the book as well so as a reader you become totally immersed in Missy's world as she goes on her journey.
