Ok, so, originally I found it quite hard to adjust and get into this book. I found it hard to sympathize with the main character but... As the book went on I progressively got more and more emotional. We start the book off with Missy, a seventy ninee year old woman who has come accustomed to her everyday life in her little home. She has grown used to the tiktok sound of her clock the the tip tap of her feet in the hallway, all the general everyday sounds of her home. She is not dealing very well. Her husband has passed away, her son and family are all in Australia and she is not on good terms with her daughter. To describe her state is lonesome. As the book progressed we start to see chapters of her past life and what really happened to make her feel this way but we also see events unfolding and how her situation totally changes. At the last chapter I was so emotional as we finally got the full picture of this amazing woman's life.
