Seventy-nine year old Missy is lonely and has lost her sense of hope and enjoyment in life. After an unexpected encounter at a fish stunning, Missy meets Angela, Sylvie and her much loved son, Otis. I loved this book and I was enticed by the wholesome story line and the realistic representation of the relationships between the different characters. I also respect the messages behind the book about second chances and not judging others prematurely. I think Missy's character growth is inspirational and shows the reader that it is never too late to find happiness and improve yourself for the better.
