How perfect is this book! I laughed, I cried – it is just pure magic, bubbling with hope and inspiration. Missy is such a wonderful character. She is far from perfect and makes mistakes and that makes her completely relatable and human. The story covers loss and haunting loneliness and how you can find happiness again. So often, especially in lockdown, I find myself sitting alone and listening to the clock ticking, getting louder and louder until it feels like it’s screaming. But this book reminds us that we are not alone. There is so much to enjoy and be thankful for, even when we are all stuck inside! Take each day at a time. I would recommend this book to anyone and it’s definitely in my top 5 reads for 2021 so far!
