Based on the First Look of this book I think it could either be a great creepy read or be dull and predictable. Personally I don't love the writing style and found myself losing focus when reading so I don't think this is for me. However I do think the premise is an interesting one and the 1980s setting makes for a unique backdrop to the crime as obviously investigation would have to be done differently.
I'm not personally a fan of the cover as I find it looks like hundreds of other crime fiction books and because of that it would not catch my attention when placed with other books.
