A very descriptive beginning on the book, it sets a very eeiry tone and made me feel as if I was right there with the characters.
I liked how the first section of the book and then the second section join together, the characters are very believable and realistic and moving to an area that doesn't get many crimes, I feel like that is most places which puts emphasis on the murder. However, I did feel like there was a bit too much description at times which made the book hard to get into, but adding a bit more conversation the book would flow better. I like reading about characters thoughts on the crimes, and having discussions between each other is the best way for that. So whilst overall it was a very interesting and detailed read, I did feel like it dragged a little bit by having too much description.
