The only reason this book didn't get 5 stars from me is because i feel that the story took a bit too long for me to be able to get into it and was a bit slow. I persevered and glad i did because the story was amazing.
I did have to remind myself a little bit that it was set in the past and so things we easily have on hand now, they didn't have on hand back then. it made some parts of the story make more sense that way!
Ben (the cop and main character) returned to his home town for a quieter life only to find himself in the middle of things happening with a murderer and so he set out to put an end to it.
Natasha (the forensic specialist) and ben try to stay ahead of the serial killer which is difficult. The story unfolds around the killer and the police from different viewpoints which i liked and i think made the story more enjoyable.
