This book is well written and absorbing. The life of a small town community in California is well written .
I would recommend this book. It is not the usual run of the mill serial killer novel but has more depth and substance. The characters are well drawn and believable. I did not guess the killer which is always a bonus! I am now going to read the first book by this author.
