I read the preview and i liked the book, however, after 80 pages i felt the book was slow. There did not seem to be built up in the strong and i could not feel anything for the characters.
I did not feel much for Ben at the start as it was a basic cop that gets divorce and cant build a relationship, however, Ben did develop over time.
I was not keen on the amount of time the author spent telling me about the screen or describing some scenes in the book. Especially as it did not seem to add much to the book.
I wanted a faster pace from the book which i just did not get and at times i became bored with the strong.
I think the book was well wrote in areas and it covered a sensitive topic well.
