The book, Shadow man, was interesting as there was two perspectives. One was from this person who was stalking people and was murdering women in the town and the other was the detective. The detective was first shown horse riding with his daughter and he was displayed as being kind and caring and wanted the best for her. When you find out about the first incident you find out that his character is actually someone who is desperate to find out the truth. He was in the city trying to save his marriage when these murders start occurring and he is desperate to protect the town. The other perspective is interesting as you can see exactly what the murder was doing and this made it easier to know who he was when he got caught.
