To be honest, I am in two minds when it comes to publishing biographies of people like Michael Emmett. I think on one hand it is an interesting read and good to hear that he has got his life in order now, but at the same time I think there is something quite controversial about it. However, putting this aside, I was impressed with how well-written the extract was and having lived in the same parts of London that Michael grew up in, that had an additional element of interest for me. An interesting book.
