From the start of the book, I am met with a fast paced action filled scene and it’s all real! Then all of a sudden I am met with a detailed background history. This book from the first glance shows me it has a lot of depth from families to crime to reputations and it’s certainly eye opening to see what it is like living in a life full of crime or in this case growing up surrounded by it. I liked the intense, fast paced beginning that grasps you in as if you were there. I think this will be a good and vivid eye opener and will broaden the minds of individuals who may have a certain impression of those with a criminal history.
