I enjoyed the preview read of this book. The first few Chapters give a good feel of 1950's and 60's London from a child's viewpoint. It is interesting how from a young persons perspective related criminals are naughty. Robbers are nice, kind people. This always annoys me, because if they are capable of being those nice kind people why can't they stay the right side of the law and earn their livings without hurting others like the rest of us. Feel like I'm preaching now.... Oops
I understand the author has turned his life around, so am excited to read the rest of the book to see what transpires.
