I have to admit to being in two minds about this one - I haven’t heard of Michael Emmett before so the cover certainly didn’t draw me in, but it does sound like he’s lived a rather extraordinary life!
Having read the first impression I’m not sure I’d carry on as there’s a bit too much of a religious focus for me, and I found the writing a bit confusing - one minute he refers to family by names, the next it’s Dad or Gramps.
Whilst I’m sure any true crime lover will enjoy this, I think it may just be a little too brutal for me...
