I didn't want this to end. What a great extract. There is something addictive about real crime and this is no exception. It reminds me in part of Shantaram which involved criminal activities and ultimate redemption. Readers of a certain age would recognise the breakfasts mentioned of yesteryear and I loved the description of Aunty Mary although I suspect she may have been "fur coat and no knickers". A book I would definitely like to read in full.
