I was not disappointed with this book. Following Michael's journey from childhood to new beginnings was very fascinating. Michael's childhood and family life show how this shaped and formed his adult life and his path to crime.
His journey to rehabilitation was very long and difficult but heartwarming to read. I managed to finish this book in one sit-in, this is very rare for me recently. But I was hooked from the beginning, I wanted to know more about Michael and his family. It's lovely to see how he finally finds peace.
The book is well written and very easy to read. I do have one criticism and this is that the book sometimes lacked details in what I perceived as a big event in his life. However, this didn't take away from how interesting the book was. I am so glad I got the opportunity to read this book as it was insightful. If you enjoy biographies it's a great read.
