This book caught my attention from 3 pages in and had me hooked. Honesy it took me a while to pick it up but when I did I was pleasantly surprised that I was so focused. There is suspense as well as every emotion within the book. I found the writing style very suspenseful however it did feel as though it started to tail off for me at different points where my focus would shift. All in all I was able to paint a solid picture in my head whilst following the book. The cover was intriguing to me at first glance however I have come to realise that this cover is not as I rising as I first presumed it to be and didn’t get a sense of eagerness when looking at it however I’m sure that is a very subjective opinion of the cover and would not be the same for everyone. All in all very happy to have read this book and would recommend it to a friend or anyone looking to try reading something different to their usual.
