I’m not one for reading autobiographies but I actually have really enjoyed this and found it a refreshing change to the normal fiction books that I read. Michael is very open and honest in his book and it is written in a very clear way which is easy to read. It starts when he is a young boy and he mentions the bad, good and emotional times he went through. It gives an insight to life in prison and how becoming a Christian changed his outlook on life and also how he lead his life. We all know that crime happens but it’s incredibly interesting to read a true story of how someone got into a life of crime but also how the found a way out of that life and how finding God helped him. The book has enough detail so that you can understand what he went through without it being too long, there are just enough chapters to make this a book that isn’t long winded. A good read!
