There is nothing to criticise in this book. The cover page was excellently thought out and I love how it has Michael Emmett on there, showing his true struggles and pains, ones he's endured and is forthcoming with his experiences. The clever title page definitely compelled me to check this book out and it's safe to say, the distinctive plot maintained my interest.

Sins of Fathers explores the unquestioned part of a closed off society; life in prison and the struggle of individual traumas and experience. The unique struggle of Michael Emmett depicted in the short 'First Look' highlights a truly complex attitude towards redemption and the vilified outlook on Emmett's livelihood, as a result of the innocent feature of a child idolising their fathers; desiring to be like them while being blinded to their faults, making this an interesting and highly anticipated read.
