Coming from a fan of fantasy, this crime book seemed interesting from when I first read the description. However, the pace at which it was written wasn't stable enough to form an interesting enough narrative. It seemed messy in places and put emphasis on rather small events that didn't need the characterisation they were given and some more enticing entries were simply not given the spotlight in this book that they so deserved.

Talking about the actual publication of the book, the format is awful for readers. Whoever chose the font for this book clearly does not read enough or possibly does not read at all by the looks of it. The margins are too wide at the side of the of pages so that when the page is opened you struggle to read what's on the inside nearest to the spine.

This book is OK at best but the formatting and the experience of reading this book means it wasn't worth it in the end. However, that might just be because of my bias towards fantasy novels.
