This one was quite hard to read for me. It was set up like an autobiography type read and wasn't quite a fictional read that I thought it might have been but that's fine because I needed to expand my reading genres and preferences anyway.
This ended up being quite a powerful book focused on redemption. Michael's life story is tragic, gripping and in some parts, quite shocking. It's a story of how his life was just going downhill essentially but it is not all doom and gloom. There is a turning point and I won't spoil it for you be revealing it now, I'll just recommend that you go and read this book and soon.
It's sheds light on an ex-cons life, the rough bits and the happier bits, no longer a prisoner but a free man. It is the true account of a life lived and give such insight to how things can easily slip then slide down a path that seems impossible to escape, it's not impossible.
