When I first looked at the cover of the book I thought that it was not the usual sort of book that I would go for. After reading the first impression I was rather interested in reading Michaels story and I wanted too learn more about his life luckily I won a copy after submitting my first impression and has the chance to read Michael's story.
As much as I wanted to like this book I unfortunately I didn't enjoy it that much. I wasn't very keen on the way the narrative was written and I found it quite slow going in some parts and I felt like quite a lot of the smaller events in Michael's life had a lot more attention than the much more significant events which deserved the spotlight and attention. I also felt like there was a lot of name dropping constantly and I struggled to keep up with all of the different people involved in Michael's crimes.
It was nice too see Michael end up turning his life around.
