Sins of Fathers is the life story, to date, of Michael Emmett. It is not my usual genre of book but I found it a compelling and easy read. Starting with his childhood he details his complex relationships, early life experiences and then becoming embroiled in a life of darkness, drugs and deceit. I was interested in his prison experiences and spiritual pathway, the highs and lows of life on the edge and the dynamics of close family and more distant associates.

This book would interest readers of crime, drugs, prison, spirituality and complex personalities, to name a few.

I was glad and privileged to have had the opportunity to read it and to have a small insight into such a life journey. I would be interested to read a second book in the future on his continued work with ex-offenders and his path from today.

I find the book cover interesting and appealing and I think other readers will too.
