Initially, I saw the cover and was instantly drawn in... it's absolutely stunning! But then I saw that it was by Sebastien De Castell and I screamed. I didn't know he was coming out with a new book/series but I love his Greatcoats series so I'm expecting great things from this book!
From the first impression I get some Harry Potter vibes and a hint of the humour present in the Greatcoats series so instantly I was hooked. This seems like it's going to be a whirlwind of a ride and I can't wait to see what shenanigans Kellen gets up to, learn more about the magic system and I'm intrigued and excited to see where the 'squirrelly cat' comes into the story!
