I thought that this book was very suspenseful and gripping. Sebastien is an amazing author that knew exactly how to write this book. His use of description was utterly incredible when he was trying to paint a picture of characters and places for us. I really liked "Kellen", the main character, and his caring, determined and somewhat naive personality. "Kellen" was one of the many interesting characters in the plot of this novel and i loved being introduced to new mysterious ones along the way. The relationships between the characters were also something to be admired, as the author did a fabulous job of describing familial and non-familial relationships that the typical person in our world woud have. I would highly reccomend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about characters that defy the odds and that change throughout the course of the novel.
