This book is amazing! The best start to the series and very well written. Kellen is the kind of character who you just want to root for and want good things to happen to. The other characters around him are also very well written, especially Reichis and Ferius, who are two of my favourites. This book just oozes potential and if all the other books are just as good as this one then this series is going to turn out amazingly. The plot is very well written and the characters fit really well into it, and the whole fantasy and magical aspect to the story adds so much more sparkle to it, despite the main character not actually being magical at all. Kellen is a really good character and I like him a lot and the other way he’s described and the way the other characters are described make it seem as though you are right there with them, watching all these events unfold. Would definitely 100% recommend.
