I read this book so quickly, due to the writing style being so wonderful, but more importantly the story of this book was fantastic! Kellen is the son of an important man who is about to take his magic trails, the problem is he doesn't have any magic he has been tricking his way through schooling. Now the time has come where he can no longer pretend he has magic, and compared to his very powerful sister he is a disgrace to his family.
However after being found out all is not lost, he gets helped by a wander who are feared and hated by his people, however she has seen something in him and helps him escape persecution from his people and live a life as an outlaw. Now on the run he needs to continue using his tricks to escape the bounty hunter after him!
I have not read the last book in this series yet but this is one series to read if you are into fantasy and magically worlds, the author has a knack of slowly building the world up and not giving anything away while doing it that will spoil moments later on in the book and the series.
