Saw the second book of the series in a store and I immediately fell in love with the cover so I buyed them instantly. Haven't read anything by Sebastien de Castell before, but this book convinced me to finish the series.
It is very interesting, fun and quick to read, I think I finished it in two days maximum. Would for sure recommend it!
Kellen is the kind of character who you just want to root for and want good things to happen to. Also I really enjoyed Kellen's "business partner"- as he calls himself- Reichis, the Nekhek or squirrel cat.
The plot is very well written, complex, the characters are very nice, well-developed. The writing style is easy to read so you can easily get into the book, and into the action. For me it was the kind of book where the more you read the more you enjoy. I would say this is a binge book for sure.
I can't wait to read the others in the series as well..
