Imaginative and unexpected story line
The concept of the story is very original, one I had not heard of before. It plays on the common suspicion that magic is just a trick of the mind, in a way that brings in fantasy and mystery.
The main character that has been created is very loveable from the very start of the story, which means that you find yourself routing for him through out.
The writing style is very good. The words flow with one another nicely and there is a nice presents of different, unusual words, which give the feeling of entering a different world.
The cover is very artistic and beautiful. Again it gives a strong sense of fantasy and magic. The black and white with the red work beautifully together.
