I did not think I would enjoy reading this first look. On the first few pages I felt confused by what had happened in the first book, who all the characters were and what the STAGS and Medievals were. However, the book is written clearly and I soon became interested in Greer and the mysterious play that came into her possession. I like the book cover and while it would have been better to read this as a sequel I think it will work as a stand alone book too.
