The first thing I would say for this book that the reader should read S.T.A.G.S the
first book, as this is a sequel to that book. I did not read the first novel and as such found it difficult to follow.
I was not best impressed with the story as it is no my genera. For me there was too much referencing the story to films such as when one of a characters gives a certain look " just like hannerbal in the silence of the lambs" This referencing is throughout the book.
The story is about Greer a student in her final year at S.T.A.G.S. when she receives unexpected help with her drama studies when the original pages of a lost Elizabethan play are slipped under her door. The play was considered so dangerous it was banned and the writer Ben Johnson was put in jail.
The play leads her back to somewhere she thought she would never return- Longcross Hall.
