Dogs was brilliant. I won this from Reader's First and I had not read Stags so I bought Stags and enjoyed it so I read Dogs. Dogs was a very unique book and I really enjoyed the writing. I liked that the book was set in a boarding school in the UK and I think that really helped to set an eerie, gothic horror atmosphere. Dogs is a dark and twisty thriller with a hint of romance however, you do have to read Stags first as this is a sequel. The hint of romance was quite sweet and I enjoyed that. The thing that got annoying was that the reader was kept in the dark about a lot of things and the reveals could be annoying as it was one think after another and I did not know which characters the main character could trust as everyone seemed untrustworthy. I like the cover of this book and I think it fits well with the series. This is young adult so I would recommend it to any teenager.
