Although I enjoyed the first book in this series, S.T.A.G.S., I didn't like the ending so I was wasn't sure if I was going to read the sequel. I originally assumed that S.T.A.G.S. was a standalone but it now seems to be a two or three part series.
D.O.G.S. starts a year after the first book ends, Greer is contemplating the anniversary of the events of Justinium the year previously. Greer is now focused on completing her final year at school and making it into her university of choice.
There's a mystery element added to the story straight away, Greer is given a never seen before, extinct and priceless play to direct.
D.O.G.S. is dark, intense and mysterious from the first page until the last. If you enjoyed the first book I would definitely recommend this one.
