The piece is said to be a sequel to a prior book, STAGS, however I have not read this so can not comment on any connections which may be present.

From my own readings so far, the story is chilling to the bone with its premise, a play that has haunted generations since the Elizabethan times. In some ways the book reminds me of the KING IN YELLOW , especially the premise.

The books aesthetic has a mixture of dark academia, and a conspiracy that transpires against. The mystery that surrounds these books is deep and intense, it always keeps you on your toes and guessing what’s coming next .The foreshadowing and subtle hints scattered throughout are perfect; even if I don’t realize they’re hints at the time.I don’t even know what to say. I love the characters, I love the writing, I love the history sprinkled throughout the narrative.

If you love mystery, lore, and friendship keep your eyes peeled out for this one.
