Starting this book immediately had me enthralled. The mystery, the constant unknowing of who has a main part to play from the first extract immediately had me captivated. The way that the author has written is very wordy; best for readers who like quite a descriptive and intelligent writing style. The author has made sure that they haven't revealed too much with their structure of the book, and keeps it as a constant guessing game. When you think you understand something, the author twists it and makes you come up with new ideas for what could be happening. Altogether a thrilling book!
I truly think that M. A. Bennett's writing is easy to read which is a perfect thing and lent itself to such a fast-paced plot which I wanted to race through. She is easily able to make the characters seem like teenagers and act like them- a problem I always face in YA books written by adults.
