Having read the first book, STAGS, I knew I would enjoy this one. This books starts of straightaway where the last book left off, jumping straight into the action. As similar to the first book, it almost gives the plot away in the first few sentences to give the reader an idea of what is going to happen.

The plot unfolds at a nice pace, revealing more mysteries as it goes along, adding to the storyline. I like how the long lost play The Isle of The Dogs is incorperated into it to add a bit of interesting history and playwriting to it.

The characters are likeable and quite realistic. I like the divide between the Savages and Medivevals, showing their different lifestyles to it. My favourite character was Cass who has shown her shy yet strong personality.

Overall, DOGS was a very enjoyable book. I would definitely recommend this book for all ages.
