I was engrossed in this from the start. Ruby returns to the small Lakeside estate she was staying in when accused of murdering her neighbours. Freed due to a mistrial, Her return is watched with disbelief and apprehension by her old neighbours. This place sounds like a nightmare to live in-all secrets and lies and everyone watching everyone.
What does Ruby’s insouciant behaviour hide? She is in no way sympathetic and I’m prepared to believe that she is in fact guilty but it will be fascinating to find out - and probably to be proved wrong!
