Looking at the cover, I liked how dark and mysterious it looked. The first impression I got from the book was that it sounds very intense and gripping. The characters seem very strong and it centres around a woman being recently released after being accused of murdering her neighbours. So when she returns her friend who she shared her house with is shocked to see her. It would be good to find out what happens next.
