I love the concept of the story and was really intrigued by the blurb.
The story opens well straight away making you ask questions about Ruby and Harper trying to "work them out". It reflects the fact that the residents of Hollows Edge still don't really know what happened the night of the murders.
While I like this reflection, the story does feel a bit dense and slow moving. However this does allow for a very thorough picture of the neighborhood to be painted.
