I do love stories like this, and I thought the first chapter was brilliant, especially with how it started and the way there were so many unanswered questions. After another chapter, the same points started being repeated, and sure maybe it was to emphasize the impact Ruby had on the community but after we were told that she was accused of murder, even the last sentences seemed unnecessarily dramatic. I hope the next couple of chapters head somewhere different.
