Punchy
I initially dismissed this book, assuming that it was a 'been there, done that' - I based this mostly on the blurb and the general sense I got from the title/cover page.
However, after actually reading the first impression - my mind has been changed. The first impression sets a very interesting scene, and I felt like the atmosphere was punchy, and not dragging like some sometimes are in this genre, recently.
