I initially expected the book to be in either Ruby's perspective or in third person. However, I like that the story is in Harper's perspective as it leaves me wondering if Ruby had any involvement in their neighbour's death. I loved how tense the story is already from Ruby's arrival and I'm excited to see how the story unfolds.
