This was my first book by this author and it didn’t disappoint. The first half felt a little slow and I also found myself wondering if the range of people in the community was realistic but once the story got going I stopped caring about that.
Almost everyone in this ‘nice’ little community had a secret they’d rather stayed hidden and I was never entirely sure of anyone’s innocence. None of them thought Ruby would come back here, now she has and is determined to prove her innocence to boot they all decide to stick together- but can they all be trusted?
Harper was a slightly annoying character- a push over much! I was also a little disappointed with the ending after having enjoyed the second half a lot more, but over all I enjoyed this book and would definitely pick up another by the author.
