I liked being in the world of this book. A home owners association - desperate housewives type - area. But I thought that things like the lake would come more into the story and I was disappointed with how boring the ending turned out to be.
Harper just seems like a pushover character to be honest and why didn’t ruby ever come forward with her information earlier and why didn’t she remond Harper she was innocent and did she say fuck you or thank you?
I dunno I just got a bit bored reading this. Ruby was an interesting character but that’s about it.
I don’t have much more to say on this book but for such a quiet place, it’s got some nosey neighbours who need to learn that everyone can see what’s written on social media.
