i enjoyed this book, i enjoyed finding out what really happened that night, there were good unexpected twists, there was a good mix of characters, who all live on a quiet street until one night two of their neighbours are found dead, neighbour ruby is sentenced to 20 years for their murder, but released after 18 months due to new evidence, she returns to the scene of the crime, walking into her old house like nothing happened but determine to prove her innocents and maybe something more sinister, putting the whole neighbourhood on high alert. ruby is such a complex character its hard to work out if your on her side or not, clearly everyone on the street have their own secrets, the book flows nicely and is easy to read, it just goes to show how every little lie or hidden truth can snowball into something much larger and darker, nothing is ever as perfect as it looks from the outside,
