Welcome to Hollow's Edge...
This is the second Megan Miranda book I've read, and I'm becoming quite the fan! I enjoyed this read; the tension builds slowly to begin with, but it definitely got me hooked.
The atmosphere of Hollow's Edge was so well written, and I had no trouble imagining the area and the houses of all the neighbours. If it wasn't such a risky place to live, it sounded quite idyllic.
I felt all the main characters were well written and Harper in particular was interesting to follow as she drove the story forward.
I definitely didn't guess the ending - so bonus points for not being too easy to work out and keeping me guessing throughout.
I could imagine this working really well on screen, just needs a beautiful lakeside spot! There is a handy map at the beginning, in case you get confused where everybody lives and to be honest this is a nice idea, as it also helps bring the location to life.
