From the blurb alone I felt drawn into the story, and from simply looking at the cover I knew it was going to involve mystery.
I was immediately invested in getting results and solving the mystery. I felt I was learning along with the characters, who appear initially to have a real depth to them that made me form an instant opinion on them as if they were real people.
