I like Dan Brown, I love Michael Crighton but I didn't enjoy the first look at this book. It reminded me of the Scooby Doo gang.
The language is either too stilted 'and he does not stint
in making comedic play over how far this shows his star has fallen' or too casual with no proper sentence construction.
I won't be struggling to read this book.
