This book gripped me from start to finish.
Nolan Moore, amateur archaeologist and host of The Anomaly Files is determined to find a cavern that hasn't been seen or heard of since an explorer found it in the early 1900s.
Usually Nolan and his crew find nothing that hasn't been found already but he likes to question the 'facts' told by scientists and historians and see for himself so he can choose what he believes.
He never thinks they'll find the hidden cavern but they do . . . Things start to go wrong and the cavern itself is changing as they explore it.
Their appearance has set something in motion, something that will change the world as they know it and time is against them.

This book seriously stressed me out. There's so much tension throughout that had me constantly reading, I finished it in a day because I just couldn't put it down.
But my god, the stress was real!
I felt like I was living the story with Nolan and his crew and I spent most of the time thinking 'oh my god!'
Also, the banter between Nolan and Ken is brilliant and those small bits of humour were nice to break up the almost constant tension.
